We are a Family Run Hostel!
We arrive to the area before “Chalten was founded in 1985.” In 2003 we bought this hostel expanding family business from farming to hospitality.
You will be kindly attended by one of our family members who will be at the front desk willing to give you all the guidance
All buses arrive at the bus terminal, from there you can walk, it is very easy to get there.You have to take the San Martin Avenue and walk until you reach the 675, this road is the continuation of the route and where is the terminal.
If traveling by chalten travel, the bus leaves you at the hostel Rancho Grande just in front of Lo de Trivi.
Its strategic location just meters from the beginning of the trails makes the center of excellence for lovers of trekking and mountain activities.

Trivi’s policy. (By booking our premises, you agree to our booking conditions and cancelation policy) Check in / Check out: Check in 2:00 pm, but we are flexible and when the room is ready you can access, or drop your bag any time. Please inform us in advance your arrival time. Using special request box when booking. Outside the reception opening hours access to the hostel is by key code only. If not prior arrangement. Check out 10:00 am, you might have free use of common areas (only under pre-arrangement with staff member otherwise you will be charged). Free bag storage, the same amount of days you stayed with us. Payment: Cash (ARS peso, euro and USD), AmEx, MasterCard, maestro, cabal, dinners club. Accepted Bank transfer to Argentina. For larger bookings over 350usd we will reserve the right to ask for an advance payment of 50% of the total. Tax not included in the rates (21%) Special conditions/cancelation policy: *During normal months: One week before arrival, in case of no show or shortening the stay 100% will be charged without any refund. If we cancel your reservation the amount you payed to this booking platform won’t be refunded. *During December, January and February: from 0 to 14 days prior arrival, in case of no show or shortening the stay, we will charge you 100% of the total amount. Your credit card might be charged 14 days prior arrival and the amount is not refundable. If payment is not received your booking will be cancelled. Groups policy: Bookings from 6 guests in advance. We reserve the right to ask for payment in advance. There is not capacity for extra beds in shared dorms. It’s only possible under prior arrangement with us when booking. Please note the following cancellation charges will apply to your full booking: 6-4 weeks 60% of total cost. 3-0 weeks 100% of total cost. Winter From 1st of May until 1st of October the reception opening hours are changeable, we normally open from 9am to 1pm and from 2pm to 8pm. If you contact us in advance we open earlier or close later. You’ll need to send the security code (CVV/CVC) of the card you used when booking (this is the last 3 digits of the number on the signature strip at the back of your card) in order to fully secure your booking, 48 hours after your booking. In case the pre-authorization of the credit card is declined or not accepted we will send an e-mail to the guest asking for new credit card information. If we do not receive new credit card details within 24 hours the reservation will be cancelled. This will be notified to the guest by email
